The work of Golden Girlz fills a much needed gap. To be clear there are many segments of our LGBTQ+ populations struggling to obtain and maintain housing. It is never more evident how important this work is than when you see hard numbers.

The data illustrated above illustrates why our two initial programs are currently under development:
- Heart 2 Heart: a transitional housing program to support, nurture, and develop BIPOC Transgender individuals struggling to secure and maintain safe and affordable housing and employment opportunities.
- Golden Girlz NC: a longer term strategy to secure and develop a site for a multigenerational, multi-racial, black feminist intentional community centered on the support of our LGBTQIA+ elders.
